Just wanted to thank the Board, the managers, the Roads Committee and the Roads crew for the excellent job of keeping the roads plowed during the Thanksgiving week and weekend snow storms.
Great job,  many thanks!

On another note, lots of activity going on in the Park this summer and fall.  Many new homes under construction with some being cabins being built on speculation by local builders.   Also lots of dead timber clean up going on with larger loggers and clean up crews working in the Park this summer.

While building a smaller log cabin on speculation this fall I noticed lots... of mule deer with their young fawns in tow.  A heard of about 20 hung around the cabin under construction all afternoon and could have cared less about the generator, compressor or nail guns.  One big doe actually walked up and sniffed the generator to see what it was about.

  1. Hello what is living like in Forbes Park since the 2018 fire? Are the trees regrowing and also the wild flowers? Do the wild life still come through the park? Have the residents affected by the fire rebuild, are residence returning and stay in the park?
    Thank you.

    1. Hello, Sorry to take so long to reply, haven't been monitoring this blog lately. Yes, the aspens are regrowing quite quickly and many wildflowers and grass have come back. Many of the cabins that burned in the Spring Creek fire have been rebuilt and realestate sales have been off the hook for the last couple of years. Best to you, Mike
